Had Hawaiian Brothers in Houston and they were delicious. This San Antonio location is a ghost kitchen. The front ordering area has no AC and it was hot even at 9:40 pm. The few we interacted that work inside the facilities are mean. We drove from Fort Stockton and asked for restroom code and one ignored us and the other lied and said it wasnt working. I know they lied because eventually someone gave us the bathroom code. There was an African American lady delivering orders in black plastic bag was super nice. She was the one who got the Hawaiian Brothers employee to come up. We ordered 2 combos from Hawaiian Brothers. One was a regular combo and one was a big platter. We ordered 4 different meats to jog our memories so we can come back another day. The food was decent. One of the meats we didn't like but we cant tell which is which. Definitely for this ghost kitten, save your money and order the regular combo. I've attached the picture to see if yall can tell the difference between a regular combo and the big platter.

Since I ordered via delivery, I can’t speak to the service or atmosphere, but the food was absolutely delicious! I’m newer to Texas and have been struggling to find spots with really flavorful, comforting food. I took a chance on this restaurant on DoorDash because of a great deal, and I was blown away! The portions were generous and packed with flavor. I ordered the Classic plate with Honolulu Chicken, Huli Huli Chicken, rice, mac salad, and a side of veggies. Everything was bursting with flavor, and my taste buds and tummy were so happy—a first for the food I’ve ordered in the two years I’ve lived here in Texas! I will definitely keep ordering even without a deal, and I can't wait to bring my family here when they visit. Highly recommend!

I went there yesterday and the spam matsubi seems way overpriced as well as the rest of the food considering there’s only two outdoor picnic tables with extremely starved mosquitoes. Also it’s in a small room with lockers to get the food when it’s ready. The Luau pig was had a smoked aromatic savory flavor which was good. Mac salad was delightfully delicious and nice and cool. Rice was okay but the teriyaki sauce was the MVP to make the rice absolutely awesome. Molokai chicken was slightly crisp kinda char with flavor enveloping it in a delicious way. Drinks were a bit too expensive so I passed on it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Incredible Food and Service! Even though we ordered through DoorDash, I was so impressed that I actually called the restaurant afterward just to tell them how amazing everything was. We ordered the Mixed Plate Big Plate with Huli Huli Chicken, Luau Pork, white rice, macaroni salad, and a pineapple skewer, along with the Mixed Plate Classic with Molokai Chicken, Kilauea Chicken, white rice, macaroni salad, and a pineapple skewer. Every single item arrived hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The chicken was juicy, the Luau Pork was tender, the macaroni salad was delicious, and the pineapple skewers were the perfect finishing touch. The portions were generous, and you could tell everything was prepared with care. When I called, I had the pleasure of speaking with the manager, Jose. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely thankful that I took the time to call. That kind of customer service is rare these days, and it speaks volumes about the way he runs his restaurant and cares about his customers. It's not often that a meal is good enough to make someone pick up the phone just to compliment a restaurant, but Hawaiian Bros absolutely deserved it. If

Food is always tasty but the portions were wrong. Ordered a large mixed plate and the portions looked more on the side of a classic portion. Not only that, but they put a bed of rice under the meat to make it look more “full”. Crazy that you’d expect to get a large helping of meat when you order a large. Kinda overpriced for just chicken rice and Mac. They must be making a killing on returns considering the simple menu and price of those Whole Foods in the market. I was pretty hungry and they failed lol. Can’t even write a review on GRUBHUB and they have a five star review there, pretty sus.
